Flowers and Your Pets

If you have a pet at home then you know that sometimes they can get curious and eat things they shouldn't. (especially cats!) Due to this, you should be careful about what flowers you leave within their reach. When buying a plant or flowers, you should always do some research to be sure they will not harm your beloved pet.

Here is a list of some popular flowers/plants that may be toxic to your pet if they were to eat them.
*Please note: this is not a complete list of all plants/flowers that are toxic to pets. Please do your own research if your plant/flower in question is not on this list!

1. Amaryllis Plant (toxic to dogs and cats)
2. Asiatic Lily (toxic to cats) 
3. Bird of Paradise (toxic to dogs and cats)

5. Carnation (toxic to dogs and cats) 
6. Daisy (toxic to dogs and cats) 
7. Easter Lily (toxic to cats) 
8. Pothos (toxic dogs and cats) 
9. Hydrangea (toxic to dogs and cats)
